Who are you?
We are seeking a Business Development Director to help grow our network and continue to foster relationships with leaders in the SaaS community. Your focus will be identifying opportunities to provide growth capital to a diverse portfolio of clients, and lead deals to close. You will have exposure to all major decisions and the freedom to create, experiment, and put ideas into action.
The successful candidate will be an experienced relationship builder, who likes to get things done. We admire people with grit and creativity, who are curious in nature and determined to figure things out. We believe in continuous learning and value a winning attitude.
Requirements
Profile / Experience
You will bring experience in finance and business development, and a consultative approach to helping customers solve problems. To succeed, you will be naturally outgoing, and energized by seeking new business opportunities and engaging with clients. You enjoy collaborating with team members and are comfortable pivoting between competing priorities. This role offers plenty of autonomy and ownership.
-Strong understanding of company finances to include P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow.
-Strong written and verbal communications skills.
-A self-starter with effective project management skills.
-Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines.
-Minimum of 5 years experience with demonstrated career progression
-Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a similar field preferred.
-Business development experience with social selling expertise a plus
-Strong knowledge of excel, word, PowerPoint. You don’t have to be an expert but knowing your way around spreadsheets is key.
-Attention to detail and a well-developed sense of humor!
Responsibilities
This position is responsible for leading the entire sales funnel, building relationships with SaaS founders and CEOs, analyzing company financials, and drafting term sheets for debt facilities.

-Develop new business through outbound activities and inbound leads
-Build relationships within leaders in the SaaS community
-Enhance the awareness of Element SaaS Finance in the growth funding marketplace by serving as a brand ambassador
